Norilsk Nickel Harjavalta Oy to support Jokerit hockey club
The Jokerit ice hockey club, a member of the Kontinental Hockey League, has unveiled an updated development strategy. Jari Kurri, Jokerit’s General Manager and its new majority shareholder, introduced the club’s new management team, which will be tasked with implementing this strategy.
At the top of their agenda is solving the club’s financial problems, recruiting young and promising talent, and getting the team to the top of the KHL.
Along with Kurri, Norilsk Nickel Harjavalta Oy also joined the investor ranks. Norilsk Nickel Harjavalta acquires 40% share in the asset management company owned by Jari Kurri. The partners will be working together to ensure bright future for the ice hockey club.
